The following information is important to review as you are admitted into the Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment Program.

What to Bring:

  • Health insurance card
  • License/Identification
  • A list of current providers and their numbers
  • One medium suitcase
  • Comfortable clothing including underwear, socks and pajamas
  • Books
  • Crosswords/Sudoku/word search
  • Personal journals (not wire-bound)
  • Hygiene products: if needed, we will supply products to meet basic hygiene needs
  • Make-up: only in plastic container
  • Skirts and shorts  (must be knee length or longer)
  • Medications – please bring a list of your current medication with you, including over-the-counter medications.

  • Towels
  • Washer and dryer
  • Writing materials

What NOT To Bring:

  • Sweatshirts with hoods and pockets
  • Tank tops
  • Leggings
  • Skirts or shorts above knee length
  • Computers
  • iPod
  • CD player
  • Radio
  • Cell phones
  • PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)
  • Shoelaces
  • Belts
  • Sharp items/glass items
  • Razors
  • Cords
  • Chemical hair removers
  • Aerosol products
  • Alcohol-based products
  • Pillows
  • Blankets
  • Comforters
  • Stuffed animals
  • Jewelry
  • Money
  • Other valuables
  • Illegal drugs/alcohol

Please note: valuable items are brought at the owners’ risk. The program is not responsible for stolen or misplaced items. Please do not bring items that are not included on this list, as they will be sent home at admission. No storage is available on the unit.
