Position Details

Job Title: Adolescent (Inpatient) Social Worker

Location: Waltham

Job Summary
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides clinical services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care and the NASW. This candidate is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participating in team planning, facilitating groups, utilization review, discharge planning/case management, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and assisting the program director as needed.

Education
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.

Desired Experience
Minimum of 1 year experience required. Must have experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting; inpatient, residential, partial hospital, intensive IOP or crisis team setting. Strong clinical, DBT, CBT, and curriculum development, organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and function well in a fast paced mental health environment and to collaborate well with others. Eating disorder experience and familiarity working with adolescents preferred.

License/Certification
LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or license eligible in Massachusetts
