Position Details

Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Part Time)

Location: Waltham

Job Summary
Walden Behavioral Care is seeking a part time (24 hours a week) Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Assessing needs of adolescent/adult patients
  • Establish activities/groups to meet the level of the patients functioning, including psychoeducational groups and yoga therapy
  • Consult with other departments regarding group programming needed
  • Communicate relevant observations to the treatment team
  • Complete documentation on patients within the require timeframe

Education
Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy

Desired Experience
A minimum of 1 year experience is required. Successful candidate should possess excellent communication and orgizational skills. Ability to multitask and function well in a fast paced mental health environment and to collaborate well with others. Eating disorder experience and familiarity working with adults and adolescents preferred.

License/Certification
OT Licensed in MA
