 Position DetailsJob Title: Assistant Vice-President for Training, Research and Program Development Location: Waltham Job Summary Walden Behavioral Care is seeking an accomplished and dynamic psychologist to develop this new executive level position. The successful candidate should possess the following:
- Extensive experience as a clinician, supervisor/teacher and researcher, working with a variety of populations, specifically individuals with eating disorders
- A clinical orientation that is primarily behavioral based (CBT, DBT) and guided by a combination of empirical research and clinical experience
Responsiblities of this position include:
- Organizing and implementing a comprehensive training program for all levels of staff
- Developing an outcomes measurement program
- Organizing and conducting relevant research with our research partners
- Assisting in the continual refinement of our clincal models (In-patient, Residential, PHP, IOP, Binge Eating)
- Other professional roles include public education, community relations and media
Education Ph.D. or Psy.D. Degree Desired Experience Strong clinical, DBT, CBT, organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and function well in a fast paced mental health environment and to collaborate well with others. Eating disorder experience required.
