Job Title: Director of Nutrition Services

Location: Waltham

Job Summary
Walden Behavioral Care is currently seeking a registered dietitian to serve as its Director of Nutrition Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Clinical and dietary plans for all Walden programs
• Organize or oversee the effective and efficient function of nutrition assessments
• Group and individual nutrition therapy
• Oversee meal plans
• Participate in treatment team and discharge planning

Education
Masters Degree in Nutrition from an accredited college or university. Candidate has completed an ADA approved dietetic internship and maintains current ADA registration and Massachusetts licensure.

Desired Experience
Successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience providing direct nutritional care in an eating disorders setting; supervising menu planning and therapeutic diets in a healthcare setting and demonstrated strength in leading and managing staff. Candidate should also have strong clinical, organizational and communication skills, as well as a knowledge of Joint Commission standards and food service regulations. The ability to function well in a fast paced mental health/eating disorders environment is desired.
