Nurse Educator – 16 hours per month

The Nurse Educator assesses the clinical educational needs of the nursing staff and plans, develops, implements and evaluates educational programs to meet those identified needs. This position is 16 hours per month.

Registered Nurses – All Shifts

The Registered Nurse assumes full and ultimate responsibility for the quality of nursing care she/he provides to individuals and groups. Included in such responsibility are health maintenance, teaching, counseling, collaborative planning and restoration of optimal function.

Registered Nurses – 24 hour nights

The Registered Nurse assumes full and ultimate responsibility for the quality of nursing care she/he provides to individuals and groups. Included in such responsibility are health maintenance, teaching, counseling, collaborative planning and restoration of optimal function. The RN coordinates the nursing process which is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team. The RN provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from adolescents to elderly, and is also individualized to a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse. The RN incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our mission, vision, and values into nursing practice at Walden Behavioral Care.
