What We Treat

Walden Behavioral Care is the only acute inpatient facility in New England to offer eating disorder treatment for patients as young as 13, and males as well as females. While young women are most likely to need treatment, eating disorders are a growing problem for males, seniors and young people.

Our Eating Disorder Services provide discrete, highly specialized treatment of patients with anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder and other eating disorders.

By offering a complete continuum of treatment for eating disorders, Walden Behavioral Care can not only meet the needs of all patients who require treatment, but we can also change treatment as patients progresses toward recovery. This approach not only encourages patients to progress, it also helps ensure that insurance benefits cover more of the treatment needed to achieve recovery.
