Marketing and Community Relations Associate Job Summary at Walden Behavioral Care

At Walden, the Marketing & Community Relations Associate is responsible for the planning and implementation of a comprehensive marketing/customer service program. He/she is responsible for representing the hospital in a professional, organized, well-informed manner. Toward that end, he/she must be knowledgeable about all of the hospital's programs and be able to impart that information to the Walden's potential and current referents. In addition, the Marketing & Community Relations Associate must be able to obtain feedback from referents and report such information to the supervisor in an organized and timely fashion. He/she is responsible for Walden Behavioral Care's participation in events and exhibits, and is also responsible for the preparation of such events.

Marketing and Community Relations Associate Education, Experience and Knowledge Requirements at Walden Behavioral Care

Candidates applying for the position of Marketing and Community Relations Associate should possess a bachelor's degree preferred in either Communications, PR, Marketing with a concentration in health care. One year experience in the behavioral health field is preferred.

Marketing and Community Relations Associate candidates should able to demonstrate the ability to learn and understand the Behavioral Health Field and convey Walden Behavioral Care programs to referents in a clear, effective, and intelligible manner. Strong communications (verbal and written) and computer skills using software including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access are essential. Candidate must be well organized.
