Nutritionist Job Summary at Walden Behavioral Care
The Nutritionist provides clinical nutrition and dietary plans in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care. This candidate is responsible for nutrition assessments, individual and group nutritional therapy; meal plans, participating in treatment team planning, and discharge planning and liaison services with the dietary department.

Candidate must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations.
Nutritionist Education, Experience and Knowledge Requirements at Walden Behavioral Care
Candidates applying for the position of Nutritionist should possess a bachelors or masters degree from an accredited nutritional education program, with experience preferred in providing direct nutritional care in an Eating Disorder Service and mental health treatment facility.
The Nutritionist candidate should be able to demonstrate strong clinical, organizational and communication skills; the ability to function well in a fast-paced mental health/eating disorder environment; and, collaborate with medical, nursing and multidisciplinary treatment team members.
