Eating Disorders Services For Adults
Walden provides a full continuum of care for adults 18 years of age and older with eating disorders, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
To determine which level of care meets the individual’s current medical and emotional needs, an initial clinical assessment is performed. After the assessment is completed, patients are referred to the appropriate level of care and assigned a treatment team including a case manager, nurse and physician. This team of experts designs a comprehensive treatment plan to meet the individual’s medical, nutritional, behavioral and psychiatric needs.
Throughout treatment, patients are continuously monitored and treatment is adjusted as needed. While many patients advance through the continuum and onto full recovery, some patients will need to move from a lower level of care to a higher level of care to accommodate their current needs.
