Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Care

Walden’s inpatient psychiatric unit treats patients with a wide range of psychiatric disorders. Patients receive comprehensive psychiatric and psychological evaluations and treatment, as well as 24-hour nursing care and ongoing medical and behavioral therapy.
Throughout treatment, patients participate in a wide variety of individual and group counseling programs. They learn new skills, receive support and understand more about their disease and available treatments.
Coordination with outside clinicians, social service agencies and patients’ families helps ensure a smooth transition to a full range of care and encourages re-integration into the community.
