Eating Disorders Treatment Services
At Walden Behavioral Care, we understand that each individual who walks through our doors is unique and has specific needs that must be considered. During the intake/evaluation process, our team of trained specialists begins to understand these needs by conducting an intake interview where symptoms and behaviors are discussed, and laboratory work and clinical evaluation are reviewed. Based on the findings from the interview, clinical evaluation and laboratory results, the team creates a treatment plan that includes a recommendation for level of care.
Finding the treatment level that matches a patient’s needs is always possible because we offer a continuum of eating disorders care that includes: inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient treatment and specialized programs for male and female adolescents (ages 12 to 17 years) and adults.
What makes Walden different from other programs is our ability to work with patients and families as their treatment needs either increase or decrease. A patient can enter at any level of care, and the treatment plan is adjusted according to their medical and psychological presentations. Regardless of our patients movement through the continuum, they will always be supported by compassionate staff that will help them through their recovery journey.
At all levels of care we treat Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, binge-eating disorder and other specified feeding and eating disorders (OSFED). At our inpatient and residential levels of care, we also offer specialized and individualized eating disorder and diabetes treatment.
